Kalra Hospital is a pioneer in the field of acute cardiac care in the region. We have played a pivotal role in spreading awareness about preventive cardiology amongst the common masses. Our efforts continue to support the cause. Kalra Hospital has also recognized the growing critical care needs in the region, and in India, and has collaborated with international experts in the field. Cardiovascular disease, and critical care medicine go hand in hand. Kalra Hospital envisions itself to be involved in the highest quality of critical care delivery in the region. It also envisions to bring world leaders, and experts in the field of critical care medicine to New Delhi, and organize continuing medical education series of the highest standard to train the national physicians involved in the care of critically-ill patients.
The year 2012 brings great news for critical care physicians in India, as Kalra has collaborated with Dr. Richard Phillip Dellinger, one of the biggest names in the field of critical care medicine, and lead author of the Surviving Sepsis Guidelines. Dr. Dellinger is now a consultant with Kalra Hospital & SRCNC Pvt. Ltd., and we will have his expertise available to us, as and when needed to help us guide in establishing the highest standards of critical care delivery, and intensive care.
Kalra Hospital will also work closely with the Critical Care Working Group (CCWG) in getting international experts to Indian soil to train our housestaff in critical care medicine.
This is an exciting time to be at Kalra. Watch this space for further updates.
