Kalra Hospital offers a comprehensive international students elective program. The program not only focuses on the enhancement of their professional knowledge, but also assists in evolving them as successful doctors.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the program, an applicant must submit the following documents:

• A letter, or No Objection Certificate from the university undertaking the graduate program that permits to pursue the elective anywhere in India, from a privately-run and managed hospital, and/or institute.
• A photocopy of the passport.
• An essay, in less than 2000 words, on the benefits of pursuing an elective at Kalra Hospital & SRCNC.

• Active, student-centred learning - students are encouraged to be active in managing their own learning, and schedule their own curriculum for the elective, including scheduling interventions and surgeries they want to observe.

• Didactics - students get the opportunity to attend resident didactics, and hospital continuing medical education (CME) conferences.
